In November 2004, something profound happened. I was presenting the LegalShield plan to a truck driver from Ohio who was at an orientation in Missouri. He asked me if this plan would help him as he had been bit by a beetle in his motel bed, and they accused him of bringing the beetle into the motel. Our Ohio provider law firm through the Missouri provider law firm immediately “went to work” for our member, getting his emergency room bill paid.

That’s when the product and the company went “from my head to my heart.”

There are two legal systems: one for the rich and one for everyone else. The color of justice in this country is “green.” You can look in your wallet and see how much justice YOU can afford.

The membership helps create access to the legal system that is equal for all! Attorneys write the law, interpret the law and prosecute the law. When it comes to the law, “If you don’t have a seat at the table, you are on the menu!”

Over the Supreme Court it says, “Equal Justice Under Law.” Unfortunately, nowhere inside does it tell us how to pay for it.

We live in a “do it yourself society.” If it’s to be, it’s up to me or us or you! Life happens, stuff happens, and we are taken advantage of or we “make a mistake.” Getting advice, good advice is imperative in life — health, financial, personal and legal. But I think it all comes back to legal. The average worker in the country has to work two days to pay for one hour of an average attorney’s time.

It wasn’t until Harland C. Stonecipher created this company that a family could easily have access to the justice system and to provider law firms in the U.S. and Canada. The majority of issues members seek assistance with are handled under the membership benefits without additional attorney fees.

Success at PPLSI starts and stops with the MEMBERSHIP; therefore, MEMBERSHIP sales are key. Don’t have enough money? Sell a MEMBERSHIP. Organization not where you want it? Sell a MEMBERSHIP. I became a part of the Platinum World Council in 2019 on my own, writing 170 memberships per month. Amy and I went to Malta on the Platinum World Council trip with many of the Platinums I’ve looked up to for many years.

Others can have the success I am having. I am a product of the system. All it takes is activity, lots of activity, continual training, education and caring about people. I made a $249 investment in May 1999. It took time to build my business, adding people to my team and opening group accounts every year.
